Property seized under the criminal investigation by Kyiv prosecution officers returned to the client.
Investigators of the Kiev city prosecutor’s office, based on the decision of the investigating judge, searched our Client’s apartment. During the search, prosecutors seized money in order to pay off losses caused by criminal acts by unidentified persons. At the same time, the city prosecutor’s office did not have evidence that this money was obtained by criminal means, and, in turn, the client had evidence of the legality of the origin of this money.
As a result of petitions submitted by our lawyers to investigating judges, funds of more than UAH 2 million, the company’s documents and seals that were unlawfully seized during the search, have been returned to the client.
